For Researchers

The research program isn't live yet. The architecture is.

Conceptual Health is being built so that, when a research partner is approved, they can run a query against de-identified, IRB-bounded health signal in seconds — every contribution patient-consented, every query audited on the public chain, every payout in HCC accruing 88% to the patients whose signal made the answer possible. We are pre-launch. The waitlist is open. The architecture is published.

What you can expect

Three things, in this order.

1. Patient-consented signal. Every record in the research surface is there because the patient opted in from inside the patient app. Revocation propagates on the next block; nothing about that is policy, it's architecture.

2. IRB-bounded queries. Any query above a de-identified-count threshold requires IRB approval before it executes. The threshold and the IRB are published in the compliance posture.

3. HCC payout to the patient. Research queries cost HCC. 12% of every query is retained by the platform; 88% accrues to the patients whose records were touched. The economic relationship is the patient's, not the platform's.

What's coming

Four pages, three signed letters, two regulator approvals.

When the program opens, this page becomes the index for: Apply for Access (you can join the waitlist now at /researchers/apply/), Consent & Ethics, IRB Workflow, Data Dictionary, Sample Queries, and Pricing. The architectural underpinnings live in the whitepaper today.

The three signed letters: HITRUST CSF v11 (program-wide), SOC 2 Type II with the research-surface boundary in scope, and an IRB letter of cooperation. The two regulator approvals: institutional alignment with HHS Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP), and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 attestation for any GxP-scoped study.

Email is fine. Real responses, real cadence.

Send a brief note describing your institution, your research focus, and the cohort or question you would query if access were live: research@conceptualhealth.com. We acknowledge within five business days. Notable submissions get a real conversation, not a form letter.
